Hurricane Sandy has brought some wild weather to the U.S. - and Deer Ridge Mountain Resort is no exception. We received our first snowfall of the year before the end of October, just a little earlier than usual. Enjoy the pictures below:

Fall Wedding with Highlands Feel

We hosted a beautiful fall wedding on the Sundeck this past Friday. The bride and groom had a bagpiper at the ceremony to provide music. Not our run-of-the-mill wedding and we wanted to share some great pictures and video with you.

Deer Ridge Welcomes Lockheed Martin Golf Association

Deer Ridge Mountain Resort is pleased to welcome the Lockheed Martin Golf Association to the resort as they add several golf courses in the Gatlinburg area to their annual tour. Guests will be playing at both of the Sevierville Golf Club courses as well as at Bent Creek. The golfer's response to our locale has been very positive so far and we hope that staying at Deer Ridge Mountain Resort becomes an annual event for the Lockheed Martin Golf Association.

Fall Arrives on the Ridge

Just wanted to let folks know that our blistering hot summer seems to be a memory now, as cooler more autumn-like tempertures have arrived. While the period of time between Labor Day and October is usually a slower time here at Deer Ridge Mountain Resort we have had some events to keep things busy. This weekend we look forward to hosting a golf group and having a small wedding here at the resort. October is just around the corner and we hope that you will be able to join us for Sunset Fest, our annual autumn celebration held each Saturday afternoon in October. This event features free food for our guests, wonderful bluegrass music, and the "Best View of the Smokies". If you haven't made plans yet there is still time...but remember these weekends book fast, so don't wait too long. The colors haven't changed yet, we never know exactly when they will - as always, you can give us a call and we will let you know how things are looking. I thought I would post a few pictures of autumns past just to set the mood!
