“Top of the Smokey World
A beautiful mountaintop location. Your GPS will take you to the wrong place. Look at a map or call for directions. You go up and up, but just keep going. Our condo was clean and comfortable. Wish i would have thought to request a ground level condo, traveling with two friends whose suitcases I had to carry down a flight of stairs. Convenient location for all the local sights, but wouldn't have wanted to go up and down that mountain too often. “We stayed at Deer Ridge in Gatlinburg, TN, for four nights. Very basic condo, but more than adequate and very clean. Condos are not very big, but good for small family or couple. The view is awesome without a doubt. The enclosed heated pool area is great fun, and included pool towels. Super nice people at front desk, and someone is there until 1:00 a.m. Bring your quarters, coin operated laundry. Also, you have to pay for firewood and kindling, so don't forget the starter bricks. It is 10 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. However, there is a restaurant/store that delivers close by, plus other places off the beaten path we would have never found if we had stayed downtown. Eat at the Alamo, their food is very good. Will definitely stay there again.” - Kalliemae, Lima, Ohio
