“In the Smokies”
We didn't have much of a surrounding neighboorhood - we were 2500 feet up in the Smokies - this is what we wanted, so we had to get used to no neighborhood here - had to stock up on food - we had a full kitchen. It was 10 mile into town. Great balcony sceen looking at the mountains. These were condos tha were maintained my a management service. There was no daily turning of the beds or the room, but we were able to get what we required from the staff - all was good and we had an excellent stay - the price was right also for a full 2 bedroom, living room and a full kitchen overlooking the smookies

“Can't wait to go back!”
We really enjoyed our stay at Deer Ridge! All of the rooms have a beautiful view to the Smoky Mountains. Our room was very clean and neat, we felt like home. The staff was very friendly. If you decide to visit the Smoky Mountains, Deer Ridge is the place to stay, we would definitely go back there!
Area recommendations
Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge because they have a lot of attractions.

“Home away from home”
we loved this resort. we are going to make this our permanent vacation spot when we go to Gatlinburg! the resort was so beautiful and the view was great! the only downfall was it was quite a drive to main spots in Gatlinburg.

I don't know whether to start with the beauty of the location, the nice clean condos or the fantastic customer service.
In recent years, I've almost forgot what customer service meant. Deer Ridge was a reminder of what wonderful true customer service is. Without a doubt! I can't say enough about how nice everyone who worked there was about EVERYTHING from a stamp for a postcard and a child with a nosebleed.
We walked the trail behind the parking lot, took full advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub and got to see a wedding on the deck. I loved drinking coffee out on the balcony in the morning and watching the clouds scroll over the mountains in the afternoon.
If you are looking for a nice getaway, this is your spot. We have been back every year since my husband and I were married 10 years ago and plan to continue.
Room Tip: Book close to the office on cool months so your run from the pool/hot tub will be short.

We had a short, but amazing experience at Deer Ridge! We stayed in a Mountain View Condo, and the view was AWESOME! The condo (2 bed, 2 bath) was fully furnished, clean, and very comfortable.
If I had any criticism, it would be that the location of the resort is a little farther from the city than we would have liked, but it only took about 15 minutes to get to downtown Gatlinburg.

“Exactly What We Were Looking For”

Our experience at Deer Ridge Mountain Resort was exactly the kind of accommodation we were looking for. We wanted to be in a more rural, scenic area away from the commercial commotion of Gatlinburg; we wanted a place where we would have enough space for ourselves and our two adult children; and be able to relax.
The property is beautiful, not far from one of more popular trail heads. Once you get used to the drive up to the property (best done in daylight for the first time), we were never more than 20 minutes from shopping and restaurants.
The building could use a bit of TLC (some cracks in the walls, caulking around the tub, etc.), but very clean and otherwise well maintained.
We would definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend this to our friends.
