Free Junior Ranger Day
April 25th sees this unique opportunity for families with younger children to enjoy a variety of free nature activities managed by the National Park service. Free Junior Ranger Day goes from 10:00AM to 2:00PM and you can find activities set up at the Sugarlands, Cades Cove and Cherokee visiting centers. Dolly Homecoming Parade
One of the biggest reasons to come to the Smokies in early May is the Dolly Homecoming Parade on May 1st in downtown Pigeon Forge. From Stoplights #3 to #6, dozens and dozens of awesome floats will parade down the main parkway of the city, ending with Dolly herself as the Grand Marshal of the event. http://www.mypigeonforge.com/events/dolly-parade/

Sevier County Days at Ripley's
Starting May 3rd, all of Ripley's attractions in downtown Gatlinburg will be only $5 a person as part of their "Sevier County Days" local appreciation. This includes Ripley's Aquarium, Haunted Adventures, Guinness World of Records and the rest. www.ripleysgatlinburg.com.

Dollywood Barbeque & Bluegrass
The second festival for the Spring season at Dollywood is returning on May 23rd and is going on until June 7th for 2015. It's exactly what it says on the tin, a huge festival featured the best barbecue meals and the best bluegrass performers you can find in nearly marathon-style sessions. See more at Dollywood.com.

Festival Of The Nations 2015

If this doesn't inspire a plan to visit the Smokies soon, nothing will.

Dollywood has re-opened over the weekend for the 2015 season with perennial favorite "Festival Of The Nations". This year the headlining act is "Rhythm of the Dance", at the main theater on park, while many newer performers like "Timber!" and the "Alash Ensemble" play at venues throughout alongside returning favorites like Zebra Stelzentheater and Atahualpa coming back again.

This year also marks the 30th anniversary of Dollywood here in the Smokies and many new changes are expected this year, from the opening of their new multi-million dollar "DreamMore" resort and new parking to new guest amenities, new stages and much more you can see at http://www.dollywood.com/LPg/NewIn2015.aspx

Deer Ridge Mountain Resort unveils its past guest recognition program. All Deer Ridge past guests will receive an additional 5% discount off any promotion, discount, package or deal that we offer**.

Deer Ridge realizes that our business success is dependent upon our past guests returning for future stays and recommending Deer Ridge to their friends and relatives.

Value Card Discount Program
In Deer Ridge Mountain Resort’s effort to recognize and thank our country's fire fighters, police officers, teachers and small business owners, Deer Ridge Mountain Resort has created a Value Card Program that will offer discounts valid year-round.

Members Only Club
The Deer Ridge Mountain Resort “Members Only Club” is an exclusive group of past guests who have agreed to pay a one-time membership fee and purchase their vacation time in advance in increments of two, three or four weeks at huge savings.
